It’s hard to imagine a better name for the host of the 2022 U.S. Open. Located in Brookline, Massachusetts, golf’s best players will descend upon The Country Club to play in the third major of the year. The Open Championship will round out the circuit in July.
This marks the fourth time the U.S. Open will be played in Brookline, with the last occurrence coming in 1988. United States-born golfers have won the event all three times it has been played at the Boston-area course.
