Wendy A. Fusaro Obituary – Worcester Telegram & Gazette

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Wendy A. Fusaro (67) died May 8, 2023, after a long illness.

A life-long resident of Worcester and a graduate of North High (Class of 1973) Wendy was a professional dancer who often appeared on local television before becoming a licensed cosmetologist. In that role, she worked for some of the area’s leading salons as a hair stylist, make-up specialist, and certified instructor. Her expertise was much appreciated by her clients and by her employers. She also served as a product representative, leading to a subsequent career in retail, with national recognition for her sales prowess.

Although hindered in recent years by poor health, Wendy maintained her sense of style and humor, enjoying, when possible, the city she loved and the companionship of friends and family, and, as always, demonstrated great generosity through many acts of kindness and care for others.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose (Setaro) Fusaro, and her sister, Jeanne. She is survived by her siblings, Carole (James) Cornell of Tucson, AZ; Giulio (Barbara) of Sutton; and Rick (Brenda) of Rutland; and their families.

Wendy will be greatly missed by her family, who sincerely thanks the doctors and nurses who provided her care and gave her hope for many years. Services and burial in St. John Cemetery were held privately. Donations may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org).
