THE QUAKES ARE ALL CENTERED WEST OF PATTERSON AND THE TOWN OF WESLEY. THERE WERE TWO SEPARATE MAGNITUDE, 3.2 QUAKES, ONE AT 1025 TONIGHT, THE OTHER AT 940. AND THEN JUST AFTER 9:00 TONIGHT, A MAGNITUDE 4.4 HIT. PEOPLE IN THE VALLEY AND BAY AREA REPORTED FEELING THAT ONE. AND BEFORE THAT, A 3.6 MAGNITUDE QUAKE HIT AT 845. Five earthquakes were reported Monday around the same place and hours apart in Stanislaus County, officials said.The latest earthquake, reported around 10:25 p.m., was a 3.2 magnitude about 10 miles southwest of Patterson, according to the United States Geological Survey.Another 3.2 magnitude earthquake happed about 9 miles from Patterson around 9:40 p.m., USGS reported.A 4.4 magnitude earthquake was reported at 9:13 p.m. about 8 miles southwest of the Westley area, making it the third earthquake in one day. A second earthquake around the same location — 3.6 magnitude — happened at 8:44 p.m.The first earthquake, a 4.0 magnitude, happened at 5:15 p.m. and also in the Westley area, USGS said.USGS said several people across the area reported feeling it.
