The Pittsburgh Panthers are coming off a 59-41 win against the Iowa State Cyclones. They were dominant in the second half as Iowa State held a 29-18 advantage. They struggled from the field, connecting on just 14-of-41 (34.1 percent) overall, 6-of-19 (31.6 percent) from three, while adding 29 free-throw attempts. Senior guard Nelly Cummings finished with 13 points, one rebound, three assists, two steals, and four turnovers. Defensively, they did extremely well as they allowed 23.3 percent from the floor and 9.5 percent from deep here. The Panthers also added six steals and four blocks in the game and forced eight turnovers.
