So what can unvaccinated people do to stay safe from the novel coronavirus?
Where you should not go if you’re unvaccinated people
Dr. Jonathan Reiner, professor of medicine and surgery at George Washington University, recently told CNN that unvaccinated people should look to avoid public spaces with big crowds — like restaurants and bars.
- “What I would say bluntly is: If you are not vaccinated right now in the United States, you should not go into a bar, you should probably not eat at a restaurant. You are at great risk of becoming infected,” Reiner told CNN.
Unvaccinated people can also stay safe from the coronavirus by getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
Should unvaccinated people worry about the delta variant?
Unvaccinated people are at risk for the new delta variant strain of the coronavirus, experts said. In fact, top medical experts in Ohio issued a warning that unvaccinated people will get infected — it’s just a matter of time.
- “It is really now just a matter of time,” Vanderhoff said, according to The Hill.“It is when, not if, an unvaccinated individual develops COVID-19.”
- “Either you get vaccinated or you are going to get COVID-19,” he added.
